TICKETING

When is the Box Office Open?

The box office is open Wednesday-Saturday 12-5 PM, and one hour before doors on the day of shows.

Where do I pick up my tickets?

Tickets may be picked up at the ticket window located on Van Buren Avenue during normal box office hours.

Can I buy tickets at the box office?

If the show has not sold out, you may purchase tickets at the ticket window; however, we do encourage patrons to purchase their tickets in advance if they are concerned the show may sell out.

How do I purchase tickets in advance?

Tickets may be purchased in advance through our website:  www.thelyricoxford.com

Is there seating in the venue?

The Lyric is a standing room only venue. Some events may have reserved seating tickets available for purchase.

 

BAR

What type of payment is accepted?

The Lyric takes cash and all major credit cards. Checks will not be accepted as payment.

Do I need an ID to enter the venue?

If you are over 21 and do not have the proper identification, alcohol consumption will not be allowed

I forgot to close out my tab at the bar; where can I pick up my credit card?

You are welcome to pick up your card the next time you visit The Lyric.  Any bartender, hostess or security personnel can assist you in retrieving your lost item.  Please feel free to call in advance and notify management of you lost credit card.

 

GUEST CONDUCT

Can I smoke in the venue?

There is an enclosed outside area for smokers to access during shows.

Can I leave the venue and come back?

The Lyric has a strict no-reentry policy on ticketed events. Only in emergency circumstances will reentry be allowed.

I’m disabled, what kind of accommodations can you make for me?

The Lyric is equipped to accommodate all ADA patrons’ needs. If you require specific accommodations, please call in advance or notify the  manager upon arrival, so they may be arranged.

 

TIMES

What time do doors open?

Standard door times are at 8:00. This may not be the case for all shows. For door times please reference your ticket or the venue web site. For a list of upcoming shows please refer to the homepage of our website: www.thelyricoxford.com

What time does the show start?

Standard show times usually begin an hour after doors although this may not always be the case.

What happens if an event is cancelled or postponed?

If a show is cancelled or rescheduled ticket holders will be notified immediately via email.

How late do your shows run until?

End times vary but The Lyric has a hard curfew of 11:45 PM Monday-Wednesday, 12:45 AM Thursday and Friday and 11:45 PM on Saturday.

 

CHILDREN

Does my child need a ticket?

Children under five do not require a ticket to attend the show however, if the event you are attending is children’s entertainment focused, all attendees will require a ticket at full face value.

How old do you have to be to attend the show?

In accordance with Mississippi law, persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can my child consume alcohol if I am present?

Regardless of guardian presence, it is our policy that individuals under the age of 21 may not consume alcohol.

 

LOCATION

Where is the club located?

The Lyric is located at 1006 Van Buren Avenue, off the Square in Dowton Oxford, MS.

(on the corner of Van Buren Avenue and 11^th St.)

Where do I park?

The Lyric does not have its own parking lot. Parking is available at any open city lot in the downtown district.
